Sterling Davenport

Sterling Davenport serves as an Academic Advisor for the Hamilton School. Prior to his work at Hamilton, Sterling spent five years as an academic advisor working with Engineering students at the HWCOE.

Before working as an advisor, Sterling completed an MA in History and BA in History and Political Science at UF, where his research focused on the intersection of politics and religion. Current research interests include mystical Christianity, Japanese Buddhism, and the work of Walter Benjamin. In the Fall 2025 term, he is reading along with ISS2105: Origins of the Contemporary West: 1.
