  • What courses are available?

    Hamilton School faculty teach courses for both the PPEL and GBI programs, as well as Quest 1 and 2 courses, and (Un)Common Reads courses. Students can find a list of the courses we are teaching here.

  • What majors and minors are offered?

    The Hamilton School offers two majors as of August 2025: Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law (PPEL) and Great Books and Ideas. Pending approval, the School also plans to offer two additional majors starting in August 2026: War, Statecraft and Strategy and American Government, History, Literature, and Law.

  • What are expected career opportunities/paths?

    Hamilton School majors will teach transferable skills and ways of approaching problems that prepare students to succeed and have meaningful careers in a variety of fields, including law, government, public policy, finance, consulting, health, nonprofits and other areas.
