Degrees That Forge Free-Thinking, Impact-Driven Leaders
From the philosophical debates of ancient Greece to the revolutionary ideas that shaped America, the ability to engage thoughtfully with diverse perspectives lies at the heart of every enduring democracy. Beginning in fall of 2027, UF Hamilton School graduate students will be trained to think critically, analyze rigorously, and engage constructively—developing the intellectual tools to navigate complex problems and lead with insight. Our programs cultivate an environment where open inquiry thrives and pathways to impactful careers are intentionally built.

Advanced Degrees

As the Hamilton School expands, so too does our commitment to broadening the scope of higher education, which includes offering advanced degrees. In the fall of 2027, four new major programs will be introduced: the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in History of Ideas, and the Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in War, Statecraft, and Strategy. These programs will empower graduate students to engage deeply with history, philosophy, and strategy, preparing them to become thoughtful leaders and influential voices in their fields.
