Mark Koyama is Professor of Political Economy at the Hamilton School, University of Florida. He is co-editor of Explorations in Economic History and the coauthor of two books: How the World Became Rich (with Jared Rubin) and Persecution and Toleration (with Noel Johnson). His work has appeared in leading journals in economics and economic history including the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Journal of Economic Literature, the Economic Journal, the Journal of European Economic Association, the Journal of Economic History and Economic Theory.
