Max Peterson serves as the Development Coordinator for The Hamilton School for Classical and Civic Education at the University of Florida, supporting the school’s development and fundraising efforts and helping strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, families, and friends of the Hamilton community.

A proud Double Gator, Max earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology with a minor in African American Studies from the University of Florida and his master’s degree in management from UF’s Warrington College of Business. His professional experience includes outreach, constituent relations, event coordination, and community engagement through internships and professional experiences in Gainesville, Tallahassee, Washington, D.C., and at the Florida Supreme Court.

Max’s passion for advancement and fundraising grew through his experiences at the University of Florida and his exposure to the impact philanthropy can have on higher education. He is excited to contribute to The Hamilton School and help support its mission and continued growth.

Outside of work, Max enjoys cheering on the Florida Gators, playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
